Relatively early life of Dickens. This issue also contains a portion of the American serialization of Dickens' Master Humphrey's Clock. This disbound copy is in near fine condition (some pages have a chip and/or a short closed tear and there are a few occasional foxing spots).

2 (Lincoln, Abraham) Chittenden, L.E. "The Death of Abraham Lincoln" in The Independent (January 26, 1893).
1893 First Edition 
First hand account of the assasination of Lincoln by Lincoln's Registrar of the Treasury. Chittenden begin's, "I once thought that nothing could induce me to recall the events of the 16th of April, 1865." He then explains how he received a letter from another witness to these events (this letter is included with Chittenden's comments) and how he was able to read of these events and take some benefit from the recollection. This paper is approximately 10" x 14" and is in fine condition; disbound.
