Washington National Intelligencer 1815 First Edition Disbound Fine
Complete orginal disbound newspaper in fine condition. These essays reflect the division in American opinion on Napoleon's return to France and his reassertion of French militarism. Napoleon had escaped from Elba in late February and return to France on March 1, 1815. Slightly more than a month after this newspaper was published, Napoleon would be defeated at Waterloo.
